Luoyang Red Peony Plant 洛阳红丨Tree Peonies

Luoyang Red Peony, also called Zi er qiao Peony, is a stunning woody peony. It boasts double, neatly arranged petals—rose or chrysanthemum form—with magenta blooms (14-16cm/8-10 inches wide) and dark purple spots at petal bases.
It’s a mid-blooming, floriferous variety (one plant can yield 100 flowers) suited for zones 6b-9. The spicy-sweet scented peony has an upright, tall habit, thin stiff branches, and medium green serrated leaves.
Bare-root plants (4-5 branches, sold by branch count, not buds) ship only late fall-winter. More mature than single-branch options, they bloom in 1-2 years post-planting.
