Sorahana Rose (Japanese name: Sorahana / そらはな；Chinese alternative translations: Tiankong, Suolahana)This charming rose comes from Japan, crafted by breeder Keiji Kunieda and launched in 2022. As a member of the “Miyabi Series”, it stands out with its amazing bloom transformation—truly a delight for garden lovers!
Key Highlights:
The Plant: It grows up to around 100cm tall. The upright branches make it easy to manage. Whether placed on the balcony in a pot or planted in the courtyard, it can grow well without taking up too much space.
The Blooms: Each 8 – 10cm flower is pale pink, and sometimes has lovely red spots. The flower center has a faint apricot color that adds layers to its beauty. What’s most fascinating is that it changes drastically from a tight bud and finally blooms just like a dahlia—this is the unique charm of the “Miyabi Series” roses.
